  Please come prepared with your calendar for the months of October, November, December and January and note any conflicts in your form.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  All roles are open to audition. The cast requires thirteen men and seven women, ages 21-65 years, as well as a 10-14-year-old non-singing boy and a 60+ year old singing female. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Except for ‘Nathan,’ you must be at least 18 years old to audition; Nathan candidates must be at least 10 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  ABOUT THE SHOW<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  A raucous, pop-rock-musical send-up of gender expectations and stereotypes… that takes it all off. While spying on their wives at a “Girls’ Night Out,” a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo sees how much they enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they’re stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to “let it go.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  JERRY LUKOWSKI, a recently divorced, unemployed mill worker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  NATHAN LUKOWSKI, his young son. Age:10-14<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  PAM LUKOWSKI, his estranged wife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  TEDDY SLAUGHTER, her live-in boyfriend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  DAVE BUKATINSKY, an overweight, unemployed mill worker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  GEORGIE BUKATINSKY, Dave\u2019s wife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  HAROLD NICHOLS, Jerry Dave\u2019s former supervisor-turned-choreographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  VICKI NICHOLS, Harold\u2019s wife. MALCOLM MACGREGOR, a man who lives alone with his sick mother. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  ETHAN GIRARD, an unemployed mill worker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  NOAH (HORSE) T. SIMMONS, a retired mill worker; African-American.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  JEANETTE BURMEISTER, a piano player of indeterminate years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  BUDDY (KENO) WALSH, a very handsome male stripper with an effeminate personality.REG WILLOUGHBY, an unemployed mill worker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  If you are auditioning for Jerry, Dave, Malcolm, Ethan, Harold, Horse, or Keno, you need to be comfortable enough to perform on stage in your underwear, a g-string and eventually, \u201cthe Full Monty\u201d to be considered for these roles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Trust is a key word for our production \u2013 you will be taken care of respectfully and our final moment will be powerful, yet careful. You will not need to undress at auditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  There are some non-dancing and non-singing roles, but everyone will sing and dance at auditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Please be prepared to sing about a one minute<\/strong>, of a, pop, rock, R&B or musical theater song, that showcases their vocal range and in a style that is consistent with the character you are auditioning for. A piano Player will not <\/strong>be available so have a track either on CD or an MP3 to play on a speaker from your phone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  You will also be learning a brief dance combination (this is just to see you move). Please dress comfortably for movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  PARENTS OF NATHAN<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  Parents of Children auditioning for the role of “Nathan”: Please watch the original movie and find an opportunity to read the musical’s entire script BEFORE your young man auditions. Nathan sees and hears adult-themed content and, critically, drops the f-bomb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
