The Santa Maria Civic Theatre is 100% community volunteer run. Our actors, directors, stage managers, set designers, lighting technicians, box office personnel, ushers, and board of directors are all people like you. It takes a lot of great talent and hard work to make our season happen, and we are always looking for people who are interested in being a part of the theatre.
Audition for one of our productions!
About AuditionsThere are lots of ways to help backstage!

Become a MemberGetting involved is more than just auditioning for a show. We need volunteers for marketing, set construction, creating and mending costumes, prop design, electrical support, and administration. No matter what your specialty or your level of experience we have a way you can give back to the community and be a part of the theatre.
Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet new friends, to be a part of something bigger than yourself, and to get out of the house and do something that matters.
